As is customary every two years in Quebec City, Le Lieu, centre en art actuel is hosting the Rencontre internationale dŐart performance (RIAP) from 16th-19th and the 23th-26th September 2010. This major event presents a wide range of artists working in the fields of action art and performance art. The sixteenth edition of RIAP features the work of artists from Latin America and Asia, focusing on Burma, Brazil, China, South Korea, Mexico and Singapore. The program of events also includes an evening of French-language action poetry.
